Do you give free quotes ?
Yes I do, just fill out the form on the 'quotes' page, or click here...and I'll get back to you a.s.a.p. Remember the more information you can give me regarding the content, type of design and functionality, the more accurate quote I can give you.
Due to the complexities of different design requirements, it's not possible for me to give quotes via the phone...
How long will a design take ?
It all depends on what you need, how much content, graphic design, functionality etc. I will give you an estimate time scale in your quote, including extra details if I think another developer might be needed.
I would recommend gathering all your initial content, before commissioning a design and having a clear idea of the overall direction of the website itself.
How much does it cost ?
Again it all depends on the different factors involved in your requirements. I am very competitive in my quotes, considering my experience, skill and artistic involvement in your project.
I do not charge an hourly rate for a complete design, or redesign, preferring to give a total cost for the work, although additional requirements such as updates, training (for CMS / Wordpress ) are chargable at an hourly rate of £40.00.
How do I pay you ?
I always take 50% deposit, and 50% on the completion and live launch of your website. Payments can be made either through online banking or personal cheques (details provided with your invoice).
If another developer / freelancer is required for the project, then they will quote and invoice you seperately for their work.
How can I send my content ?
I am now recommending that all clients set up their own Dropbox account, which saves sending through files through email...Dropbox is a great way to send and share files.
Click here for more details about setting up a Dropbox account.
Alternatively you can send me a CD / USB memory stick of data, with files in organised folders.
Who owns the design copyright ?
If you have commissioned a bespoke website design, then I will retain the copyright for the template, layout and combinations of technologies used in the website creation.(unless previously agreed)
There is no copyright requirement when working on Wordpress website designs, as many Wordpress themes, plug-ins and widgets have already been developed.
