I am based in Muswell Hill, North London, UK, and I have been working with digital artwork, digital design and web design for over 12 years. I started designing websites about 10 years ago and became a professional web designer in 2004. I have seen the rapid growth of the internet revolutionise the way we work and live and have adapted my skills to match this ever changing landscape.

Freelance web design

The key, it seems to me, to being a successful freelance web designer, is to understand what the client wants, their needs and customer demographic. I design websites using CSS, html and jQuery, enabling me to design fully functional, fast loading websites with clear navigation and eye catching graphics. I work with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash to create totally unique bespoke web designs which work well in a cross browser, multi platform environment.

Artistic web design

I love to design artistic websites that can be developed from either a blank canvas, or existing design ideas from the client. I can take layouts designed in other software programs such as illustrator, photoshop and inDesign and turn them into fully functional web designs. I can work with your existing photo's, illustrations and artwork, or create something entirely new from scratch.

Creative web design

I like to take the most creative approach possible when designing a website. There are so many generic templates and themes out there that I will do my absolute best to create something truly unique for you . This balance can be achieved through not only a technical understanding of the mechanics of web design, but an artistic approach to the subject.

Content Management System

I can integrate an online, easy to use cms (content management system) into my bespoke web designs, allowing you the client, access to update and control the content on your website. Another option is to use Wordpress, the number one blogging system in the world right now with a customised template and theme. For more complex databasing and e-commerce solutions I work with excellent developers who can integrate mySql, PHP and any other technologies that may be needed.

Multimedia web design

I have designed many websites that incorporate multimedia features such as music and video players, image galleries and integrated Flash components. This includes youtube, vimeo and soundcloud integration all of which can be easily updated by the client and integrated into the website via a content management system.

Logo & Graphic design

Whether you have a small business, a company or are an individual you will need an effective logo. I can design you something cool, stylish and artistic. Your website will require a certain amount of graphic design, using images for backgrounds and fluid layouts.

CSS Web Design

All of my bespoke website designs feature table less, CSS coding so they are easy to navigate, quick loading and stylish. CSS is short for Cascading Style Sheets and is the modern way of building effective websites. Alongside CSS, I use jQuery, a javascript based language to create image galleries, drop down menus, accordions and other special effects.

Associated Freelancers

I also work with other freelance web developers and designers, SEO, blog & copywrighters. They're all listed in the 'About ' section and are available to hire individually or as part of a wider team. It's not really possible to be an 'expert' in every field and some jobs just need that extra level of specialism. Just like building a house, it's probably best to get an actual plumber to do the bathroom !
